Itinerary
Day 1 : Chiang Saen
Leave Bangkok for Chiang Saen, former capital of the first Thai kingdom. Visit ancient temples like Wat Phra Dhat Jom Kitti and Wat Jedi Luang. Journey by boat to the Golden Triangle where Thailand, Burma and Laos share their borders. Return to your hotel.

Day 2 : Hilltribe Villages
Leave Chiang Saen for Yao and Akha hilltribe villages. Watch the culture and lifestyle of these villages from close quarters. Take lunch prepared in traditional Thai style. Pass night in Akha village.

Day 3 : Mae Salong
After breakfast, move for Doi Mae Salong, journeying through picturesque mountains. After taking lunch, proceed to Mae Sai, a town on Burmese border. Enjoy bargain shopping in the local market. Leave for Chiang Rai. Pass your night in the hotel.

Day 4 : Doi Tung
Leave for Doi Tung, a lovely mountainous hotspot. Visit Mae Fah Luang Royal Gardens and Wat Phrathat Doi Tung temple. Soak in the scenic beauty. Return to the hotel.

Day 5 : Dai Luang National Park
Journey to Dai Luang National Park, covering an area of 1,170 square kilometers. Apart from animal and bird watching, visit impressive places like Poo Kaeng Waterfall and Wang Kaew Waterfall.
