China Sojourn Tour (CH-005)

Day 1 : Beijing
Fly out, bound for Beijing, the bustling capital of China. Stay overnight on the plane as the flight crosses the international date line.

Day 2 : Beijing
As to our plan, you are met by our professional tourguide, escorted to visit the beautiful Temple of Heaven, one of the most photographed structures in China, is located in a large park and housing the impressive Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests. (D)

Day 3 : Beijing
After breakfast, sightseeing includes impressive Tian An Men Square and the Imperial Palace in the once Forbidden City. Ming and Qing dynasty extravagance is on display with tours of the living quarters, museum and jewelry sections. After lunch, visit the Summer Palace where you cruise on the placid waters of Lake Kunming (weather permitting). (B/L/D)

Day 4 : Beijing - Xi'an
The highlight of today's tour is no doubt to visit the glorious Great Wall. Meandering its way thousands of miles across Northern China. Spend ample time traversing the ancient steps of the Great Wall. Descend to take an overnight train to Xi'an. (B/L/D)

Day 5 : Xi'an
Xi'an city, captical city for six dynasties, has its fabulous buried wonders ---- life-sized Terracotta Warriors of Qin Shi Huang. The Terracotta Army was discovered by farmers in 1974 and attracts a great number of visitors each year. Our tour starts in the discovery of Terracotta Warriors and followed by the City Wall. Day 6 : Xi'an/Shanghai
Today's tour starts from the Stele Forest and continues on the Big Goose Pagoda. After lunch, take an afternoon flight to Shanghai. With no sightseeing plan, have a free time in the hotel. (B/L/D)

Day 7 : Shanghai
Today, the sightseeing includes the Yu Garden, which typifies the traditional Chinese sense of architectural beauty, and Shanghai Old City. The Bund and river cruise on the Huangpu River will show the views of the colorful traffic on the Huangpu River and the colonial buildings put up by the Europeans during the 19th and early 20th centuries. In the afternoon visiting the Urban Planning Exhibition Center, which will show the old and new Shanghai and a peek into exciting future development. (B/L/D)

Day 8 : Shanghai - Suzhou - Shanghai
One day excursion to Suzhou „Venice of the East". Upon arrival visit the lingering Garden, which is considered as one of the most beautiful gardens in China, and the Tiger Hill. Then you will get to know the secret of silk production in the local Silk Factory. Afterwards drive back to Shanghai. (B/L/D)

Day 9 : Shanghai
Fly back home. (B)
