Day 1 : Beijing ![]() Fly out, bound for Beijing, the bustling capital of China. Stay overnight on the plane as the flight crosses the international date line. Day 2 : Beijing As to our plan, you are met by our professional tour guide, escorted to visit the beautiful Temple of Heaven, one of the most photographed structures in China, is located in a large park and housing the impressive Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests. (D) Day 3 : Beijing After breakfast, sightseeing includes impressive Tian An Men Square and the Imperial Palace in the once Forbidden City. Ming Dynasty extravagance is on display with tours of the living quarters, museum and jewelry sections. After lunch, visit the Summer Palace where you cruise on the placid waters of Lake Kunming (weather permitting). (B/L/D) Day 4 : Beijing The highlight of our tour is no doubt to visit the glorious Great Wall. Meandering its way thousands of miles across Northern China. Spend ample time traversing the ancient steps of the Great Wall. (B/L/D) Day 5 : Beijing/Xi'an Fly to Xi'an. Xian city, captical city for six dynasties, has its fabulous buried wonders ---- life-sized Terracotta Warriors of Qin Shi Huang. The Terracotta Army was discovered by farmers in 1974 and attracts a great number of visitors each year. Our tour starts in the discovery of Terracotta Warriors and followed by the City Wall. (B/L/D) Day 6 : Xi'an/Chongqing Today's tour starts from the Stele Forest and continues on the Big Goose Pagoda. After lunch, take an afternoon flight to Chongqing. After visiting the old street of free market, enjoy the special dinner ---- Hot Pot, board on the Three Gorges River Cruise. (B/L/D) Day 7 : Three Gorges A shore excursion at legend-rich Fengdu visits Snow Jade Cave, with its unique stalactite formations. Enjoy nightly a-la-carte dining and great views in the ship's lovely top deck restaurant. (B/L/D) Day 8 : Three Gorges Unforgettable scenery unfolds as you cruise through the first of the fabled Three Gorges: Qutang Gorge, hemmed by towering cliffs. At Wushan, an excursion by cruiser takes you up the Daning River to view its renowned Small Gorges. Continue by sampan to the picturesque mini-gorges of the Ma Du River with its clear, swift running water, unusual rock formations, and monkeys and goats along the banks. Alternatively, your excursion may be on Shennong Stream with its impressive small gorges. Sail on from Wushan and pass through Wu Gorge, celebrated for its Twelve Peaks. Now cruise through Xiling Gorge, most scenic of all the gorges. Finally, sail through the Three Gorges ship lock. (B/L/D) Day 9 : Yichang/Shanghai At San Dou Ping, see the progress at the historic Three Gorges Dam, the world's largest hydroelectric project. Sail on to Yichang. After lunch, fly to Shanghai. The Bund and along Huangpu River will show the views of the colorful traffic on the Huangpu River and the colonial buildings put up by the Europeans during the 19th and early 20th centuries. (L/D) Day 10 : Shanghai Today, the sightseeing includes the Yu Garden which typifies the traditional Chinese sense of architectural beauty & Shanghai Old City. Then a river cruise on the Huangpu River. After lunch, visit the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the 3rd highest building in thw world. (B/L/D) Day 11 : Shanghai - Suzhou - Shanghai One day excursion to Suzhou Venice of the East". Upon arrival visit the lingering Garden, which is considered as one of the most beautiful gardens in China, and the Tiger Hill. Then you will get to know the secret of silk production in the local Silk Factory. Afterwards drive back to Shanghai. (B/L/D) Day 12 : Shanghai/Guilin ![]() Take a morning flight to Guilin. After arrival sightseeing includes Reed Flute Cave and Elephant Trunk Hill. (B/L/D) Day 13 : Guilin - Yangshuo Today brings a delightful cruise on the upper deck of a deluxe air-conditioned boat along the scenic Li River. Cruise past a breathtaking landscape of dramatic peaks to the market town of Yangshuo, where you've time to browse. (B/L) Day 14 : Yangshuo - Guilin/Hong Kong Enjoy the peaceful and idyllic landscape in Yangshuo. Travel back to Guilin to the airport in the afternoon. A change of pace as you fly to Hong Kong.
